WHAT WAS YOUR IMPACT ON THE DAY?

• You helped to make soup for 1500 people from Langa to enjoy on Mandela Day!
• You supported our beneficiaries Ikhaya Le Langa with the set up and maintenance of 200 household food gardens, that will provide food and income for 200 families on-going!
• You supported our beneficiaries SA Urban Food & Farming Trust to provide seedlings and compost to 150 urban farmers and their families, across 31 food farms. 

WHO WAS INVOLVED?

This event is organised by Mensch in collaboration with community organisations from across Cape Town. Organising beneficiary partners include Ikhaya Le Langa‘s Black City Farms Project;  SA Urban Food & Farming Trust (SAUFFT) – also known as ‘The Langa Agrihub’ established in partnership with the JDC and The Horwitz Family Trust.

The event is supported by the Cape SA Jewish Board of Deputies, The United Jewish Campaign, and the JDC.
