AREAS WE WORK IN:
Project Ten is an international development program that operates volunteer centres in developing areas. Our centres are based in Mexico, Israel, Ghana, Uganda and South Africa. We bring together young Jewish adults from all over the world to a program that combines volunteer work with local communities, alongside service-learning in the fields of international development, culture, identity and Jewish activism. We welcome new cohorts of volunteers every three months.
In each of our centres we work closely with local partners. We either join our partners' existing projects, or work with them to create new ones with an eye toward communal independence. The South African centre was launched only last November and we are currently working with our second cohort of volunteers.
